Cureva vs CareClinic (2026): honest comparison for families
CareClinic is a broad health tracker for symptoms, vitals and records, while Cureva is a focused medication and daily check-in app that keeps a family in the loop. If you are managing your own chronic condition, CareClinic goes deeper. If you are helping a parent take their medicines, Cureva is simpler and built for that.
Two different kinds of app
CareClinic is a broad personal health tracker: symptoms, medications, mood, vitals, records and guided assessments in one place. Cureva is narrower on purpose. It is built around a parent or loved one taking medicines, with Eva checking in and the family kept informed.
Quick verdict
Choose CareClinic if you manage a chronic condition yourself and want deep tracking, wearable sync and a mature product. Choose Cureva if the main job is helping a parent stay on top of medicines while the family sees missed doses and daily check-ins.

Where CareClinic is stronger
CareClinic covers far more ground. It lists guided pathways for 100+ conditions, standardized assessments such as PHQ-9 and GAD-7, a health records store, nutrition and sleep tracking, and sync with Apple Health, Google Fit and other sources (CareClinic, 2026). Its App Store page lists tapering doses and drug and supplement interactions, and support for English plus 72 more languages (App Store listing, 2026). Cureva has no tapering schedules and its interaction check is limited to US FDA label text.
It is also a mature product with a large user base, available on iPhone today. Cureva is in closed beta.
Where Cureva is stronger
- Built around the family. When a dose goes unconfirmed, linked caregivers get a push alert. CareClinic lists caregiver invitations and sharing, but we could not find a missed-dose alert to family on its site, so we mark it Not listed.
- Eva. A daily check-in by name and a companion that remembers what you told her. She does not diagnose.
- Simpler for a parent. Less to configure. A long list of trackers can feel like a lot for an older adult who mainly needs to take pills on time.
- Professional caregivers. A separate set of 5 slots for nurses and support workers, visible to the family.
Who should choose which
CareClinic suits someone with a complex condition who wants to find triggers and patterns. Cureva suits a family looking after one person's medicines, where the question is simply "did Mom take them, and is she okay?" Cureva is on Google Play for Android, iOS is coming to the App Store, and a closed beta waitlist is open at cureva.app/waitlist. It has a 7-day free trial, and prices are announced at launch.
