How Eva actually works

What happens when a parent misses a medication?
When a scheduled time passes without confirmation, Eva makes a follow-up check-in to give them a chance to confirm the dose was taken late. If there is still no response, she sends a real-time alert to every connected family member - naming the medication, the time it was due, and how long it has been overdue. Eva also logs the miss in the health record so the pattern appears in the next doctor report. She tracks across days, so she catches when someone is consistently struggling with a specific medication - not just once, but as a trend.
Does Eva work if there is no internet connection?
The medication schedule still shows offline so your person always knows what to take and when. When the connection is restored, Eva syncs everything - confirmations, vitals, and any notes. Family alerts and Smart Health Briefs require an active connection.
How does Eva confirm a dose was actually taken?
Eva holds a short conversation - she greets your person by name and asks directly. They confirm by tapping in the app. It is one tap, not a form. Eva records the confirmation with a timestamp. If there is no response within a set window, she follows up once more before alerting the family.
Can Eva manage medications for multiple people?
Yes. One account can manage multiple profiles - for aging parents, a partner, or yourself. Each profile has its own medication schedule, check-in routine, and connected family members. The dashboards are completely separate.
How does the drug interaction check work?
Every time a new medication is added, Eva cross-references it against all existing medications in the profile using a clinically validated drug interaction database. If a known interaction is detected - even between a supplement and a prescription - she flags it immediately and suggests discussing it with a doctor. She does not diagnose or advise on treatment; she alerts and informs.
Does Eva replace a doctor or pharmacist?
