Medication tracker after surgery

An app for after hospital discharge,
built around your new medicines.

Cureva is a personal and family health companion that helps you follow the medication plan you leave the hospital with. Add each new medicine and its schedule, and Cureva rings like an alarm with follow-ups at 5 and 10 minutes. Family you link can see the dose history and get a push if a dose goes unconfirmed.

The first weeks home

Coming home is when
the real work starts.

A discharge often means new medicines, changed doses, medicines that were stopped, and one or more follow-up appointments, all explained while you were tired. Writing it down in one place, and letting a family member see it, takes a lot of the guesswork out of those first weeks.

Start from the discharge list

Before adding anything, compare the discharge medication list with what is in the cupboard. Ask the pharmacist about anything that was stopped or changed.

Add each medicine

Type the name, scan the barcode, or take a photo of the pill for a suggestion, then check it against the label. Set the schedule your care team gave you.

Keep the papers

Photograph or upload discharge papers and prescriptions. Documents are encrypted on the server before they are stored.

Post hospital medication reminders

Everything the recovery
needs, in one app.

Reminders that follow up

Each dose rings like an alarm, then again at 5 and 10 minutes until you tap Taken or Skipped. Every tap is saved with a time.

Follow-up appointments

Add each appointment with a reminder. The day after, Cureva asks how it went.

Symptoms linked to a medicine

Note pain, nausea or dizziness with a severity from 1 to 10 and link it to the medicine you suspect, so you can show your doctor rather than try to remember.

Vitals if you were asked to watch them

Log blood pressure, blood sugar, weight and heart rate. An out-of-range reading alerts you and the caregivers you allow.

Refill reminders

New prescriptions run out on new dates. Cureva reminds you when stock reaches your threshold.

Interaction flags

New medicines are checked against official US FDA label text alongside your old ones. It is informational, so confirm with your pharmacist.

Before you leave

Questions worth asking
at discharge.

A few questions make the app setup much easier once you are home. Which medicines are new, which doses changed, and which old ones should stop? What time of day should each one be taken, and with or without food? When and with whom is the first follow-up appointment? Which symptoms or readings should prompt a call, and to whom? Write the answers down or ask for them in writing. Then add them to Cureva the same day, while the details are fresh, and save a note for anything you still want to ask at the follow-up.

For the family

A son or daughter can
help from anywhere.

Caregiver view

See the doses, get a push if one is missed.

Link up to 5 family and 5 professional caregivers, each with their own permissions. They see the medication list and dose history, get a push if a dose is still unconfirmed after a short grace period, and if you allow it, can log a dose for you. It is a push alert, not a text, and it is not instant. For emergencies, call your local emergency number.

Straight answers

What Cureva does
and what it does not.

What Cureva does

  • Reminds you for each new medicine and follows up
  • Tracks follow-up appointments, symptoms, vitals and refills
  • Builds a doctor-ready PDF you choose to send, by email or a 72 hour link
  • Lets family you pick see doses and get missed-dose pushes

What Cureva does not do

  • It does not replace your discharge instructions or your care team
  • It has no tapering schedules
  • As-needed medicines cannot be set up from the medicine screen today
  • It does not send reports to doctors automatically
Common questions

Questions people ask
before they start.

What is a good app after hospital discharge?
Look for one that handles new medicines on their own schedules, reminds you more than once, tracks follow-up appointments and lets a family member help. Cureva does all of these, plus symptom logging and a doctor-ready PDF.
Can Cureva track medication after surgery?
Yes. Add each medicine with the schedule your care team gave you, and Cureva rings at each dose time with follow-ups at 5 and 10 minutes. Tapering schedules are not supported, so for a dose that changes week to week, update the medicine when your instructions change.
Can my family see if I took my medicine after I get home?
Yes, if you link them. Linked caregivers see the medication list and dose history, and get a push if a dose stays unconfirmed after a short grace period.
Can I store my discharge papers in Cureva?
Yes. Upload discharge papers, prescriptions or lab results as PDF, JPG or PNG. They are encrypted on the server before storage.
Will Cureva tell me if my recovery is going wrong?
No. Cureva and Eva do not diagnose. Cureva can alert you and your family to an out-of-range blood pressure, blood sugar or heart rate reading you log, but if something feels wrong, call your doctor or your local emergency number.
Is Cureva free, and where can I get it?
Cureva includes a free 7-day trial. Pricing will be announced at launch, see pricing. It is on Google Play for Android, iOS is coming soon, and you can join the waitlist to be told when your spot opens.
